Location Shots

The shot above, is the scene when the main character is walking down the road towards it from a high angle shot, (...) we decided to use this because we liked the thought of all the bright work in the back ground from the wall, and believed when it would be in black and white it would give a very rustic/edgy look.

This is also similar to the shot above, but from a different angle and was used for the same reasons.

This is one of the opening scenes in the video (....) when you see the main character stepping out of a house after just playing the guitar (at the very beginning) out of choosing the front doors to use from we decided to use this one because it was a very open space, and when filming we were able to get alot of light towards the shot and it also looked like the main character was stepping out of a very homely and loving place, whilst feeling very hurt and heartbroken inside. I believed this was able to show the audience a very good contrast between what was going on and the emotions behind the song.

This is the location of when the main female charater is ignoring the phonecall whilst the boy is trying to get hold of her (.....). although this was actually filmed on the school site, we didnt believe that it looked like it was in the school, and that actually it looked very homely especially with the blankets on the sofas. We were able to take the shot from the right angle so you were only able to see the sofas's and none of the pipework and radiators behind which you can see in the photograph.

These shots were filmed in one of our local parks, I believe with all of the trees behind (and also being filmed in autum) that using the glow shots would allow to bring out a nice autum feeling within the video which is carried on throughout (.....). we also made the costums so that they would fit in with the same feeling of the weather.

Used for the same reasons a above, we also choose to use this location where once the couple has been together, and then the main character would see to be on their own thinking and reminicing about what has gone on and why it s happened (....).

Similar to the above two shots and used for the same reasons, but being able to take them from different angles with the large and wide open space.

This location was used for the lip syncing sections, similar to the scripts videos, you are able to see a projector prjecting onto the back wall, full of memories of the two as a couple. (....).

This location is the road just off from where the house is situated. (....) you can see the main character walking down the road getting further and further away. Again we decided to use it because it was a nice open space, and also wanted to show the contrast from the nice loving family community to the heart and heartbrake the main character is feeling isnside.
