The above video is the profesional version of Busted - That's What I Go To School For, released back on the 16th of September 2002 and reached number 3 in the UK singles top 40. The song was inspired by the bands bass player Matt Willis who had a crush on one of his teachers back at his secondary school. There are differences between the professional and the amateur video although the amateur video is not the full length of the song.
From the length of the amateur video you can see that they have kept as close as possible to the detail of the real song. They have used a number of different camera angles including a mix of close-up's, extreme close-ups and mid shots, although there is very few long shots. The establishing shot is clear that it is set in a school, with the writing 'sex education' on a typical secondary school white board. Mise en scene is well fitting to the video, with the use of school equipment (as it seems to be filmed in a secondary school by its pupils), and also school uniform as costume.
Lip syncing is well in time although at times it seems that editing could have been more closely taken into consideration. Also background features have laughed and also stared at the camera during shots which they have put into their video which makes you watch them, rather then carrying on watching the video.
It would be nice to see a full length version of the video, as i believe it would be kept very much in time with the real version as what they have carried out is very close to the original.
